2008 Candidate Questionnaire Responses Online
The Governmental Relations Committee of the Chamber, along with the Board of Directors, compiled a questionnaire for the candidates running for elected office on the State, County, and City levels. The received responses, along with the questionnaires, are available online to view at www.mybatesville.org/elected-officials.php.
Disaster Recovery Center in Batesville
If you have suffered disaster-related damage to your home, personal property or business and have questions about available assistance, you may visit the Independence County Mobile Disaster Recovery Center at the Batesville National Guard Armory, located at 1690 White Drive. The Chamber of Commerce will have available free of charge registration forms for those who have had damage in the recent floods. You may also qualify for Disaster Unemployment Assistance NOW, Deadline is April 30th. Please come by the Chamber to pick up your forms, or you can call 1-800-621-3362 and register or go to www.fema.gov.
Business after Hours at Russell Cellular
Russell Cellular of Batesville will be hosting a Business after Hours on Thursday, May 15th, from 5pm-6:30pm at their location, 2505 Harrison Street. Refreshments, door prizes, and networking with other professionals in Batesville are just a few things you will enjoy. Come out, meet other members, and catch up with others you have not talked to in a while!
Experience the Racing at Batesville Motor Speedway!
Locust Grove AR. The Batesville Motor Speedway will return to action this weekend April 11, 2008 with the opening night for points all classes. The MSRA race for April 18, has been moved to May 2, 2008. www.batesvillemotorspeedway.net.
