To provide representation for the membership on governmental issues as they pertain to business and enhance the relationship between business and government on the local and state levels.

To recruit and retain members throughout the year utilizing specific programs developed by the committee.

Education

To enhance the relationship between business and education through specific programs and projects and to strengthen the workforce in Independence County.

Tourism

To educate the members and the community on the value and impact of tourism to the community as well as promote Independence County.

Water Carnival

Ambassadors

To provide a special welcome and hospitality to visitors of special functions and events in the Batesville Area. To welcome new members to the Chamber. To represent the Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce at Ribbon Cuttings, Grand Openings & Special Events.
