This fun ballet is full of magical wonderment with a cast of characters such as mist, silver moons, clocks, teapots, candlelight, wardrobes, utensils, and townspeople. This ballet incorporates ballet, jazz and tap dances as well as hip hop. Maggie Hance plays Beauty while Rickie Davis is the "Beast". Father, played by Joe Johnson, is exchanged for Beauty and she is swept away in an enchanted world of the Beast’s. Additional casts are Hannah Paulson as Enchantress, Erica Moore, Mrs. Potts; Lauren Gunderman, Mr. Clock; Illuminere will be played by different NADT members, Jaimee Branscum in Izard Co., Danielle Kramer and Morgan Huff in Batesville, and LeAnna Davis in Mountain View. This is going to be a wonderful event and we urge each of you to come out and support it.

This program really showcases the abundant talent that we have here in North Central Arkansas. Bring the whole family to this tale of magic and fun! Enjoy a rich cultural event, right here in your area!

Letter from the President

A letter from your interim President:

As many of you know, our recent membership campaign was a tremendous success. With the help of 130+ volunteers, the Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce was able to sign up over 200 new members! On behalf of the Chamber Board of Directors I would like to thank all who contributed their time and effort to an important cause. Without your hard work we could not have accomplished such a record breaking victory. This is also a great opportunity to welcome all of our new members. We look forward to sharing an exciting journey together as we help move Batesville forward.

Shortly after our campaign, a key Chamber staff member resigned from his duties. As any Batesville native knows, when life doesn’t go as planned we can still make the most out of any situation. The Board of Directors has decided to take advantage of this opportunity by looking at the areas of greatest need as it relates to our membership. We are currently assessing what staff positions would best serve our membership more effectively and provide the best service possible.

During this process, I have been asked by our Board of Directors to step into the role of interim President & CEO. I am excited about the opportunities before us and have already enjoyed being more involved in the day to day activities at the Chamber. Lacy has been a vital asset in keeping things running smoothly. As a staff of two we lean on each other to accomplish all we can.

Although our leadership has changed, our goals remain the same. We strive to serve our membership by advancing our economic development. Our door is always open and we welcome your suggestions.

Ed Mabry Chamber Interim President & CEO
